Is the filter accessible/can it be easily replaced? If yes, does anyone have a part # and link to instructions/DIY video?

I believe the transmission filter on the 2009+ TSXs is built inside the transmission and can't be changed. It's supposed to last the life of the car.

That's what I've read to but I've also read that there is an in-line filter that can be replaced by removing the hoses and reconnecting the hoses to the nww filter. Wondering if maybe there is a secondary filter.

I've swapped it. It's a real pain getting the hose on the back side off, but it's doable. Basically just disconnect the hoses, take off the old one, install the hoses on the new one.

At 107k, figured I'd order one and get this done. Should be able to do it next week.

Thanks. Any chance you can send a pic of where the filter is located? Can't seem to find it in the engine compartment.

Appears to be a LT part. Do you have a link or part number for the TSX? Want to make sure I am ordering the correct part.

I can try to take one later... but, it's very close to the firewall, and on top of the transmission.

Whoops, my bad, was in the wrong subsection, but luckily, both the TSX and Tl share that part number
