2012 Acura TSX will not start

2012 Acura TSX will not start. Car was driven fine, parked and returned after 45 minutes, the car will not start. All lights come on, no clicking. Battery was jumped radio works, dash lights up still car will not start. Battery is not the issue. Any one else experience this?

Have you actually had someone test the battery with a load tester? Not just a DVM?

It *sounds* like an internally failed starter.

Is the ca in neutral or park?

is it manual or auto?

is there an alarm?

Lights come on but no clicking could still be really weak battery or poor cable connection. Or the "no clicking" could be the starter solenoid gone out.

Check battery cables (pull/clean/replace/tighten).

Tap the starter with a screwdriver or hammer or something to see if you can get the solenoid to engage.

While cranking the car (turning to start), if the dash/lights don't dim or flicker at all... then you can be sure it is the starter.
It happened to me about 4 years ago
