2009 TSX at my dealership today, 4/17.
I am in sales at Prime Acura outside of Boston and we have a new TSX in the garage awaiting the local media. They wouldnt give us the keys but I sat in it today and I am thoroughly impressed. The interior is a lot more luxurious and refined. The outside is very sharp in person as well.
We have a couple dozen in transit now so we should have them in stock next week for sale.

If you are from around boston give me a ring and we can set up a test drive when they hit the floor next week- 508-623-0450.

Sorry for not adding pictures, I didn't think to randomly bring my camera to work today. Plus there are hundreds of pics all over the internet.
And who wouldn't take any chance to make a little more money....
I can tell you some cool hidden things about the car though...
- You can drop the back seats through the trunk via two levers on the roof of the trunk.
- glove box has a separate enclosure to put your manuals, etc.. above the normal cargo area.
-the steering wheel is extra thick compared to any other acura
- the engine no longer has VTEC on the engine cover, its just plane
- the engine area in general is very boring and it looks as if the engine is too small for it.
-the sway bar is weak.
-the center console has only one cargo area, not a dual-level like the old accord, tl, and tsx's, but the usb cord, outlet, and aux input is easier to get to.
-the buttons on the steering wheel and dash look weak, but they are actually very smooth to push. Precisely engineered.
- the navi dial is a lot easier and nicer to work with than on the RL, MDX, and RDX.
Thats all I can think of now.
By the way, I am not here to sell you cars, I am the owner of my second new TL and fourth honda/acura car.

I am not sure if the Acura rep is taking the car or if it is staying with us. It is registered in California although our service tech guy PDI'ed the car off the truck. (It had 1 mile on it, VIN number 00238). It is actually Acura's car so thats why none of us can drive it, although I begged.
I can let you know when the first ones for sale come off the truck if you give the dealership a call and ask for me or shoot me a message on here.

Some cars have awful buttons. they are designed poorly and feel cheap. The TSX has redesigned steering wheel buttons that in the picture make them look less refined than the old ones, but in person they have a solid feel to them.
I managed to find the key to it this morning and played with the nav and stereo. The stereo system is incredible with the 5.1 demo disc. The new MID is really sweet, a lot easier to use than the old TSX and TL. I also took some pictures, but can't upload them until I get home.
Also, apparently the gas tank lid is controled by the door locks so when you lock the doors, the gas cover is locked as well. Acura just sent that memo to us in the In Network this morning.

Yep, the gas door cover was in the press release. There is no longer a release button near the door jam. When the vehicle is unlocked, the door is unlocked. You just press on the edge to open it.

I didnt get to check the power moonroof. The media guy picked the car up about an hour ago so its gone. Gotta wait till next week when they come in.
I got the accessory catalogues though. The front sport bumper looks pretty sweet. Not a fan of the 18" accessory wheels as much as the old style.

I have scaned the brochure and someone else scanned the mini, but no-one has scanned the accessories yet.
