2009 TSX First Drive - Autoblog
It's not the best review, but it seems to be right about what I thought it would be:

The 2.4-liter inline-4 is sufficient, but still lacks real grunt. At least 4,000 rpm is required to motivate the TSX to go anywhere, but even the upper part of the rpm range isn't that fun to work with. You would hope that a high-revving engine would allow you to move through the gears quickly, but the TSX revs painfully slow, and the optional six-speed is sloppy and vague. To its credit, Acura made an effort to improve the powertrain for 2009 by revising valve timing, increasing compression, and improving the intake and exhaust flow, but it really isn't enough when compared to other engine options in this segment.

As a family that owns a 2005 RL and 2006 TSX, this is exactly what I thought it would be. I obviously haven't driven the car myself, but the strides made in the 2003 > 2004 TL were not applied here.
My fears regarding powertrain (see: 2009 RL) and transmission (ditto) pushed me away from the Acura brand until they make some REAL "advances" (pun intended).
On the TL/RL side, utilizing a nearly 10 year old transmission is bad enough. Keeping the same 2.4L I-4 in the TSX is icing on the cake.

The steering is also weighted nicely and accurate, things we're used to in the TSX by now.

This looks promising, tho. It seems they fixed it so that the USB interface now displays all the iPod info (track, song name, artist, etc.)

I'm not in love with the new TSX, and that being said, this review is poor. It obviously compares the TSX to much more expensive cars but never comes out and says so. The author thinks a luxury car should put performance first and not take fuel economy into account at all. Fuel economy isn't mentioned anywhere.
"Sloppy" and "vague" aren't adjectives you can apply to shifting a transmission. How can a shifter be either of those things? Did he poor a bucket of KFC over it? In all likelihood it's similar to the first gen transmission and the reviewer would say the same of it, which in turn says something about the reviewer.
I'm not sure what to make of the remark about forgoting they were in a TSX, do they expect it to poke then in the back with a sharp object every once in a while? Do they expect the car to be a constant distraction? Their might be a valid criticism buried in there but that guy couldn't find it if you gave him a map.
This review should have compared it to other offerings in the price range and class. It doesn't give any contrast that would give us a baseline for the reviewer's tastes and thus it's completely useless.
