2.6 quarts transmission fluid = too low?
The manual states that the TSX wagon (I have a 2012) takes 2.6 quarts of transmission fluid. I recently did a drain and fill this morning and the reading on the dipstick is beneath the bottom of the "hot" range. I used exactly 2.6 quarts, so I'm not sure what is going on. Is my dipstick bent or faulty? I had a hard time getting it back in, so maybe it's not reaching all the way down, I'm not sure.
Either way, with 2.6 quarts of fluid in the transmission, I should be fine, right?

I really hate the transmission dipstick on this car. It's almost impossible to put in smoothly and if it gets bent then it probably won't reach all the way down. That's the only reason I can think of that 2.6qt doesn't read full. I followed the other instructions to a "t" - including warming up the car before I took a reading.

indeed, i followed all type of steps but still show low at 2.6, i put 3qt and no issue.

Did you measure how much came out? Rule of thumb is put how much came out back in.
