So Acura has unveiled their new grill scheme on the MDX, new RL, and now TSX. Has anyone heard if any aftermarket manufacturers are going to make the "new-style" grill of the 1st gen TSX? It could look very nice. I wouldn't be trying to make my '06 look like an '09 (I'd have to do a lot more to do that!), but a lot of times the new-gen styles can be had in the 1st gen with parts.

I think the more appropriate question is, "will any aftermarket manufacturers be making 09 replacement grills that look like the 06?"

I actually like the MDX grill style better than the RL/TSX, but there isn't enough room in there to fit something like that.

Didn't realize everyone hated the new grill.

why is everyone bitching about the new grill? is it so revolutionary that you kids can't come to grips with it? the damn civic has a similar grill and so do all the saturns. I don't see civic/saturn owners getting their panties in a knot the way you women are.

I doubt anybody would buy a Saturn either way

I suppose people will get used to the Acura blade, but the awkward mesh combined with the blade just looks like they couldn't decide what to do so they compromised.

I'm not a fan of the exterior of this car but the interior has me hopping... and the tech package with all the cool gadgets... I am going to get it even though I'm not really a fan of the exterior...

The BBQ grill is more tempting to me than the 09 TSX

I'd have more respect for the grille if the car was designed around it. Fact is its an afterthought to differentiate the car from the Euro Accord and match it with its uglier RL sibling.

Having said that, it doesn't bother me all that much. Its the least of the 09's worries.

If we wanted a civic or a saturn we would buy one, but this is acura. It is supposed to be a value luxury auto maker. Honda and Saturn don't fit that as nicely as Acura.
