Well, here we go again.

many 2G TL are affected.

including mine....

Thanks for that! Tried calling my Honda dealer to see if they'd do it. The young lady said I'd have to take it to an Acura dealer, but I'm half sure she doesn't know they're fraternal twins. Anyone else run into this?

Me, too. Just got off the phone with the dealership. They will call me back tomorrow. I had the driver's side inflator replaced during the first recall. They are recalling the driver's side airbag again. Same reason as the first time.

According to the VIN lookup, I'm not affected.

It's an early 2001.

Yeah my 2000 TL isn't affected either. I think it was the refreshed models from 02 and up that got the defective Takata air bags where as all the Honda's made in the 90s used a Higher Quality more reliable airbag from what I heard.

You have to take it still to that location. even if they're sister companies, they might have different parts in stock or Laws that dictate.

Anyways, i just did the recall in December. do i have to do it again?
