I've got 40000mi on my 2001 AV6 w/4spd auto. I drive reasonably hard -when my engine is completely warmed up.
-around 30000mi, had an alternator (Delco 100amp+)go, but replaced under warranty. I have a stereo in the car and they saw it but eventually agreed, and just went ahead and replaced it .
-do the Honda service intervals, regardless of how much bs is included .
-around 32000mi, OPDS (side airbag occupant position detection sensor in PAssenger seat) fail on me but, was replaced promptly under warranty.
All in all, a great car. Shh an ACcord is TL's baby brother.
Also, Acura ppl, plz consider yourself really lucky; in Canada at least, Acura and Honda charge the same price for the same darn services. Try Audi vs. VW hahah, good luck with that.

still a Masshole
10600 on my 03 TLS with a few squeaks and rattles (especially now that the cold is here) and resurfaced rotors at 8000 mile service (go every 4000 cuz I tend to drive hard and I only commute 3-4 miles to work each way). Still relatively happy with the car and still love it!
oops, almost forgot...I picked up the car in early Mar. '02.

Almost 30K and still enjoyng my "love-hate" experience. Overall, I truly like the cars performance, handling and looks , but I am disappointed in the phanton sqeaks and rattles.
