What does everyone think about underbody neon?
I'm conisdering getting underbody neon (white) for my black 99 TL. just thought id ask for some opinions...

no i dont go to alot of shows, but i am a fan of underbody neon, the thing is i understand that its ricey and the tl isnt exactly the car to do it too. but is it really that bad if done right?

I kinda like the puddle lights, especially if you can wire them to light up when you open the door, it would be a neat trick.

If you like it, do it! It wouldn't be as bad as long as you have other things done to the car..neons on a relatively stock car looks horrible, but do what YOU like. Its your car.

If I see a TL with neon under neath it, I will kick the shit out of it. Plain and simple. This isn't a Civic, though unfortunately it's being priced close to the older ones...

At the end of the day its your car so whatever makes you happy. I suggest if you do decide to do it instead of getting NEONS you should look into LEDS. My friend has his car with LEDS and they are so much brighter than the NEONS.. thats just my

^^ agree, do it right and make it tasteful. It's ur car do whatever you want...As long you don't put an aftermarket bodykit on it.

not on the TL . Did you recently watch Fast And The Furious or something? if anything the puddle lights which only come on when the door is opened/locked unlocked would look halfway decent

Considering it's not 1995 I would have to say NO to any kind of NEON lights anywhere on the car.
Puddle lights are cool because they only go on when you unlock the car. Thats just my opinion.

see im fine with that, and unlike a bunch of people im going to do what i want, although i really do appreciate all of the comments and opinions .
and as ive stated before its only 40 bucks so i might as well give it a try and see what it looks like!
