Warranty Extension in mail.

it was for the OPDS Control unit/ OPDS Sensor.
(occupant position detection system)
10 years or 150,000miles.

this makes the SRS light come on.
it also says that if i ever paid for this to be fixed that i will get a reimbursement and they sent a reimbursement card to send in.
i can bring my car in anytime and get it fixed or even checked out for free.

has anyone else got this, if not u should look into it. the number they gave me is (800)-382-2238

do you bring your car in when there is a problem, or bring it in for them to check it out eventhough there is no problem so far, and the srs is not on?

You bring it in if the light is on. If its not on then your good. I swore I posted this already cause my light came on and then 3 days later i got the warranty extension. Saved me 800 bucks.

Yeah I got one too. It hasn't happened to me yet but my mother has a 2001 Accord that it had been happening to. She brought it to the Honda dealer about 6 months ago and they said nothing was wrong with it. She got the warranty the same day I did for my 03 TL-S. I guess the service manager that told her nothing was wrong with it was sadly mistaken.
