UPS man just stopped by...

And look what he brought with him

Going to install these bad boys over the weekend, followed by new rims and tires to finish it off! I couldn't find too many 2G TLers who have the ISC N1s from XLR8, so I will make sure to leave a nice and in-depth review for anyone interested in these in the future

Right off the bat, the construction of these seems very solid, so that is an initial good sign!

It has 32 way adjustable dampening, so hopefully it's better than FF1s

Skirmich, I will leave to make the 34 hour drive right after I finish the install. To help break them in

lol at color of shocks and top hat.
like color makes a difference.
also, underneath the car and hidden by components.

the FF's are crap, btw.

ISC and BC coilovers are the only two that are full threaded bodies, which means you can control droop.
these are the only 2 that retain stock qualities.

Very true, this will be the last time I ever see that orange/bronze/gold color again

Yeah I am looking forward to seeing what kind of drop I can have with these, along with the ride quality. Hopefully these will be a great alternative to the FFs

I'll start a new review thread after I put some more miles on them, but for the time being I'll just post here. Installed these today, and it took me a total of about 5 hours non-stop. Not too bad for my first time with suspension on all 4 corners.

Anyways, I drove a total of about 75 miles on them today, and I've got to say, these things are amazing. My stock suspension was in great shape, but these completely blow OEM out of the water (as they're supposed to).

I dropped to about a 2 finger gap in the front, and a 1 finger gap in the back, and am pretty content with that for the time being. I reallllly like the adjustable dampening, and what makes it worth it is the immediate feedback. I discovered that 0 (softest) is about equivalent to the OEM suspension; nice and soft, a little bouncy. Click your way to 32 and you're feeling every bump in the road, and the ride is firm, but not harsh. I, for the time being, have settled with 22 in the front and 16 in the back. The handling is just superb, and has made driving this car even more of a blast for me!

I'm sure all coilovers help with body roll, but I am able to take corners and exit ramps 15-20 mph faster than I was before. The car stays nice and level throughout the turn, whereas I used to think the whole damn car was going to flip over. They also help drastically with rear end lift on braking. I noticed the rear of my car doesn't lift at all when I quickly step on the brakes. My car also doesn't "squat" or "sag" when I step on it either.

I'm sure these are all fairly normal things that come with getting coilovers, just thought I would be thorough.

New rims + tires to come in the next week or so! They're 17x7.5 with a lower offset than stock. It'll help get rid of the gap from the sides. Then I will probably go a little moar low all the way around.

Without starting a new thread, I need to get some opinions/personal feedback. Do you (those with personal experience) guys run the Ingalls front camber kit, or adjustable ball joints? I am getting the Ingalls rear kit, but don't know which route to go with the front!

Any feedback is appreciated!

How long have you been running them? I will probably end up going for the Ingalls UCA.

With the H&R springs, you shouldn't be low enough to need a camber kit! I would start off by getting an alignment and having them get your toe as close to ZERO as possible. Toe kills tires, not camber! (To a point.)

I have the H&R Race version man, it's lower than the sport version i already got it aligned still getting uneven wear dunno, maybe the alignment shop didnt do very good job or i might need ingalls camber kit.

That's still only a 2.1 inch front, and 1.75 inch rear drop though. I don't believe that is nearly enough to excessively unevenly wear your tires. Can you see natural camber when looking at the wheels from the side? My vote still goes towards toe.

That's a no go for me since I have adjustable shocks so I can have a nice DD but a capable car when running hard... What it's the point of having adjustable shocks just to tailor them to 1 setting :S such a waste.

I think bouncy was the wrong word to use. By no means is it bouncy, I still maintain the same firmness and plantedness to the ground, I meant bouncy as in absorbent I guess. I don't feel a single imperfection in the road. The preload on all 4 corners is within spec, so I am sure those are fine!
