Transmission Recall on 2001TL

Just had the transmission on my 01 TL crap out at 67,000 miles. Doing research on this issue I found that a recall was issued back in 2004. Will Acura/Honda still honor this

On a case by case basis per dealership goodwill policy.

I am not but we bought the car 6 years ago w/ 14,000 miles on it.

The recall isn't to install a new tranny, the extended warranty would take of that - but that's long since passed. Good luck, I would plan on taking care of this on your own.
