transmission parts needed
Greetings all,
I'm rebuilding my B7WA.......I know, I know, just swap the AV6. I've rebuilt a few of these now and they work well with the shift kit to this day so I'm saving the money as I have more time than cash.
My current project is in need of the 3rd gear clutch pack or at the very minimum the spring and cap for the 3rd gear. The one I have has spun the spring so much that it is now out of shape and will not accept the new clutches and steels.
The clutches for third gear in this transmission are completely gone, metal to metal with the steels. While there was a slip into third from second gear, the third gear did hold once it locked in. How I don't know, but it did.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

tranny rebuilds are so interesting! I would totally read everything if you did a write up on your rebuild! the guy who took my old transmission asked if he could keep it. it looks like that is what he was going to do with mine
if you have the knowledge and experience, more power to ya!!

I don't believe I have enough post yet to load photo's.
I got most of my info from Hiriam of youtube fame. He slaps those Honda transmissions together like it's nothing.
I just hope this one lasts as long as the last one I built for my daughters' Accord. Over 3 years now and going strong.
