TLS seats are hard and uncomfortable....

i have an 03 TLS and i think the seats jus suc. there's absolutely no padding at all, especially right in the butt region. my bro has an '00 TL and his seats are padded, plush, and soft like a leather couch. i know that ours are more "sporty" but my butt hurts after 30+ min drives. ive never been in another TLS, but is it jus mine or all the TypeS' like that?? the leather is fine, jus the padding is almost non existent.

must be your seats. the only gripe I have with the seats is the a) squeaking sound they always make b) and the leather looks worn after very little use. Other than that, I find them fairly comfortable. I recently drove a total of 260 km without getting out of the car. Trip took me about 2.5-3 hours (was driving slow), and I got out and was perfectly fine...no soarness...my butt wasn't hurting or anything....

must be your seats?

hahahahahaha, I'm a pretty heavy/big guy, and I haven't had comfort issues in my TL-S, so it must just be his seats.

Well, I can say after 9.5 hours in the car that I was pretty uncomfortable. But then again, 9.5 hours in any car will make your ass go numb :p

I would love to take a 14hour trip to south Florida in my TLS seats rather than my minivan seats. You're right though, the TLP seats do feel a bit softer. The TLS seats are just right.

The TL-P seats are total barcolounger. Whenever I have one as a loaner, I feel like I'm in a Cadillac (a comment I normally reserve for the RL ).

I *love* my TL-S seats, but then again I have a narrow frame.

my gripe with the tls seats is that when people get in and out of the passenger seat..they always squish (lack of a better term) the side bolstering on the seat cussion and its all wrikly now and kinda deformed!!!...annoys me..my driver sid eis like that too even tho i try to avoid it...look bad essecially since the rest of the seat is wrinkle free..and the side bolsering looks like it ahd 50k worht of miles on it

I find them to be absolutely comfortable. I've driven to Florida numerous times with the TL and didn't have a single gripe. Then again I'm used to sports car seats too which could be why I'm comfortable (1993 300ZX & 1993 Miata).

Seriously, I find them very nice on long trips, and I drive 1hr one way to work every day so I know.

I know the bolster could be a bit better. But the TL-S seats are one of the better ones I have used so far. The headrest is bang on as well. You don't drive with the seat back all the way down a-la ricerboy do you?
