Hi guys!
I'm having the same problem in my 03 tls in that the shifter stays in park and only releases after a few attempts. Sometimes it works perfectly fine. However, I have another layer of complication because I have the LED tail lights and my brake light warning always stays on due to the design of these tail lights yet the brake lights function properly. Does this sound like a switch or a fuse I should be checking for?

I should add my car always starts, never have to use the key to go to neutral for a start. I have a feeling my led tail lights leaving the brake light warning on is somehow tricking my shifter of some sort.
