Tire Wet Gel vs. Tire Wet Foam

Tire Wet Gel:
Applied according to directions and noted precautions on the label. Tire needs to be clean and dry before use.
~Used a fine mist to cover the tire and avoided over spray to the actual tread.
~Let sit for a 1/2 an hour before driving
~looked really nice and shiny shortly after applying it.

Tire Wet Foam:
This product in addition to dressing up the tire also is a cleaner and can be applied to a wet or dry tire.
~simply spray on let sit for ten minutes and that is all that is required.

I used both of these products which is from the same manufacturer. Here is what I found..

Tire Wet Gel lasted a week before the shine wore off.

Tire Wet Foam lasted 2-3 weeks.

WINNER. Tire Wet Foam. Even after 2-3 weeks all you have to do is spray on and let sit for ten minutes. No cleaning, this product does it and stays shiny and makes your tire look like new.

note. I was not paid to this review just bored. Have a nice day.

Overspray from the gel especially on the tread can lead the tire to loose its grip and handling ability.

Overspray from the foam doesn't do anything to tread or wheel, it has a more concentrated spray that gives you more control when you apply to your sidewalls.

Note: the gel comes with a disclaimer not to overspray the foam cleaner does not.

after the first drive, wipe down the rims and tires , as some excess dressing material may have flung off

wash-dry, and apply 3 coats synthetic car wax to both sides of rims to keep brake dust and road grime from sticking

tips and experience on products should be posted in the special section, wash and wax
tons of detail and paint tips there too

Can I ask what brand the op was talking about? I would really like something that gives a nice black shine that lasts.
