Is there some way to test the stock ballest with out swapping out a new one

Is there some way to test the stock ballest with out swapping out a new one

I have power to my ballest and both fuses are good for the headlights I bought a complete headlight assembly used I plugged the light in and of course all I get is the parking lights and turn sinal is there any relay to check or circuit breakier of course the right light works like it should and I don't want to take it out and swap ballest but I got a 6 month warranty so I will just send it back for another one and soon as get it working I am selling the car at least the transmission works and did the timing belt water pump and plugs at 94 k now have 100k don;t need the agarvation for headlights have better things to do with my life.

If ya bought the headlamp assembly used.....it could simply be a bad low beam bulb,
try swapping the old bulb with a known good one.

there is a relay for each low beam in the under hood box

could be the ignitor or just a bad bulb
but Im inclined to believe its better to replace than repeatedly remove and swap!
see any headlight thread for www.hidextra.com 59$ before coupons scores 2 new waterproof ballast- way better than stock especially used for 10 years stock...
2 new bulbs and the power cable incl. ignitor, everything needed for both sides of car
