Technical Service Bulletins for 2000 Acura TL

Is it too late to bring in my car for some of the TSB? I'm having problems with Moonroof Creaking / Wrinkles on trim on the rear doors / Seatbelts not retracting fast enough. I have 76k miles on '00.

They will most likely charge you if you don't have an extended warranty. TSB doesn't guarantee free service; it's just instructions from the factory on how to fix common problems.

fix the moonroof your self. get some 303 protectant and spray it on a rag and run the rag over the rubber seal till its all moist, it will stop creaking

Thanks, just asking. How about the wrinkles on the rear doors?

I got a clicking noise coming from my moonroof. When I push upward on moonroof glass the clicking noise either lessened or disappointed.
Anyone has this problem?

In my TL glass roof is solid and quiet when closed or open completely. As soon as I open it partly, it creaks. What gives? How to stop it?

i too have this odd problem. depending on the tunes im listening too, the squeak gets worse. it drives me nuts. sometimes the squeak occurs when closed completely. its especially bad when i pop it into the 'up' position. it almost sounds like 2 buttons. ive had the dealer do the 'moonroof squeak fix' with the tape but it didnt stop it. i just went in on monday for an oil change and mentioned it but they wanted $234 to remove the headliner.

if i can find the culprit that would make me happy. anyone ever taken off the headliner? is it complex? thanks

I had wrinkles on all 4 doors, mentioned it to the dealer (Oakland Acura) and they sent me to a body shop to get it fixed at no charge. I got it done Jan'04 when my car had 47k miles and was 5 years old... so try asking your local dealer. They said that the black 'sticker' is failing on all the models .
