yeah...I have a 99 and got the tranny replaced a couple weeks ago under my extended warranty that I paid for. I just gave a loud knock noise when I shifted into reverse and back into drive. I think this is probably normal wear and tear..but the dealer changed it anyways...besides they get paid by the warranty company so I think they were more than happy to do it.
so if anyone with a 99 that hears the same noise...you should take it in. Can't hurt to have it checked out.

i asked riddle acura about fixing my tranny under the extended warrenty and they said that warrenty dont cover for 99's.....i had to pay 2300 for a remove and replace

The warranty dated Aug. 03 is for 7 yrs or 100,000 miles on all 1999 3.2TLs. Also enclosed was a Request for Reimbursement of repairs prior to this annocement.
