Stock ballast and A.M. ballast combo bad?

Hey guys, real simple question for you here. I need to know right now if I can use my stock hid ballast on the passenger side, and an aftermarket ballast on my driver's side.

Is this a good idea at all or should I absolutely be using both aftermarket ballasts in my setup?

The power output seems to be right about the same, the stock ballast as you know is a 34W output to the bulb and the aftermarket one I have does 35W.
Not sure if there's any other info you need.

QUICK RESPONSE WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED

I would too if the stock ballasts didn't cost me so damn much, I really don't want to waste money on getting ripped off by the dealership. I would ebay it, but it's a hard find and still expensive. I got a kit that was designed for a d2r setup.

Thanks for the input rajca. I think I'm just going to make the decision myself for now and try 1 stock, 1 aftermarket...see how that works, if I have no problems I'll leave it as is.

Yeah I know...I could have don that. I did buy a complete new kit, but I'll admit, I just wanted to put it all back together today...It was a hassle to hook up the new ballast because I had to modify the stock power source so it would all connect properly. All worked great though, lights were on no problem...then my damn battery shit the bucket on me. I guess I'll be spending more money on a new battery tomorrow. Oh well, having lights that work is all I care about.
