The SRS light has been brought up numerous times.

If your SRS light comes on, there is 1 of 2 reasons, 1) false alarm: u were messing around with the fuse box area, disconnected ur seats, or any thing of that nature. or 2) There is a potential problem, the airbag sensors have problem, seat belt tensioners have problem, accelerometer/decelerometers have problem.

If you try to reset the SRS light with the instructions posted on this board (saves u $30 that some dealers charge u for resetting it if it's a false alarm)...I reseted my SRS light once before, that was because i was installing neon lights near the fuse box. Well, recently, the light came on out of no where when i was driving (wasn't driving fast, didn't hit anything...speedbump, dips). So i tried to reset it, and it won't let me reset it.

So this clears up the debate on "what if i reset my SRS light when i really do have a problem." The car won't let u reset the SRS light if the problem still remains. Gonna have to take it to the dealers soon

Well if you really do have a problem and you clear the code, the light will come back on. If you cant clear the code well then you have a hard light -something is way out of spec
