Spare Key

I am looking to get a spare key for my daughters 2002 TL because recently on occasions she has locked her car while warming up the ca . So I am looking to get a spare key to unlock her car when she locks it by mistake. We currently only have one key and one key fob and I was trying to figure it if the key fob was the main one but the back of the key fob is worn and i can't tell what is written on the back of the key fob.

I also have a 2004 Acura TL with just one key and fob, can i do the following to the 2004 as well?

When the car unlock with this key if the car is running?
So can i get a blank key from ebay and have the dealer cut it and program it?
Can i get a key fob off ebay or a junk yard and program it even though i don't know if i have the master key fob? i am not sure witch i currently have.
Does this key have to be oem?

if you just need to unlock the door manually due to the chipped key getting locked in, then just go to Home depot and have one cut. This will get you in the door but won't start it.

I've heard of people taking out the chip from the key and attaching it near the ignition on older cars so they could use cheap clones to start their car up, but I've no idea if it'll work on our car.
I had to go to the dealer and pay $170 for a fully cloned key.

Will this unlock the door with the car on? I wasn't sure if it had a safety or something.
I would prefer to just get a oem key so it works with turning on the car as well... you know teenagers.

Brand new is 100 if you call key guy. Copy of existing one with chip to another with chip is around 30$. I did it too.

Yeah they really lived up to their title of "stealership" with that one. At least they washed and vacuumed my ride for me haha.
I saw instructions on here by one of the more senior members on how to manually program a key, but I believe it was for the 3rd gen TL or something. Either way I can't find it now, but if you're interested you could take a look through the site.
