put that thing in a plastic `marine battery box` for safety- protect the terminals and batt from damage

in the meantime use rubber terminal covers on the Pos cable at least-
In the event of a worst case~

haha yeah, i'm going to get some terminal covers, just ran out of time. i'll grab some tomorrow.

the battery relocation kit i bought came with a battery box, but it was too big to fit in that crevice where the CD changer was. i'll figure something out

crazy how much engine bay space this freed up though

got my downpipe welded today so i'm getting that much further along

Second that - Much cleaner, nicer and all around better... Random wrench flies up and shorts the battery while driving...

Make sure you get something! I'm an Optima fan, but those two little basted sealed holes on the top can leak - If overcharged or some anomalie happens the gel will turn to a liquid acid!

Now would be a good time to learn the location of the emergency trunk release...if you don't already know.

not the one on the trunk lid itself, but yeah mine is yellow also there, actually glow in the dark if you look at it in the dark

This will make running wires for your amp if you decide to put one real easy.
