2002 TLS, 172,000 miles, original engine, original timing belt (will be getting it serviced soon), transmission replaced at 47,000 miles. Bought it with 41,000 miles back in 2004. Wouldn't trade it for the world!!!

Just crossed 241k miles on my 02TL-S. Still running strong after hitting two deer during ownership. Going to keep driving her until she dies. Not looking for a car payment right now, so just taking care of it and keep her going.

I'm at 96k miles on my 2002 TL-P, and the car is running great and I haven't had any issues with it in the 1 year that I've owned it. The tranny shifts quickly and smoothly with no problems at all, however the bolts on the tranny case are painted green so I'm pretty sure it is a post-Feb 2005 tranny, however the Carfax reports that I got when I bought the car didn't show any transmission rebuild or replacement and I bought the car from a dealership so I didn't know the previous owner to find out details so I'm not really sure.
I maintain this car VERY well, so far since I got it I've already done the timing belt and water pump and cleaned out the intake ports, plus I did the NGK Iridium plugs plus Seafoam maintenance and fuel system cleaner which really made the car run great. I change the oil every 3k miles religiously with Castrol 5W-20 full-synthetic and I change the tranny fluid once a year with Honda Z1 however I just ordered a 12-quart case of Amsoil synthetic ATF after hearing all the positive reviews on here so I will be doing a 3x3 change with the Amsoil in a few days.
The mods I've done so far have been the Comptech Icebox CAI, Greddy SP2 cat-back exhaust, DC Sports ceramic headers and J-pipe, and 17" Rial Porto rims w/ Michelin Primacy MXV4 premium touring tires. I just ordered Tokico HP Blue shocks for all 4 wheels and I'm having my Compech tranny cooler installed next week. The intake/headers/exhaust really woke the car up with a noticeable boost in hp and torque across the entire powerband especially with the DC Sports headers and the Greddy SP2 cat-back sounds PERFECT, and I'm also planning on having a 2009 TL intake manifold put on in the near future as well.
So far I really enjoy driving this car a lot, I get compliments on the overall looks and sound and it really is a pleasure to drive every day!

Just hit 140k miles yesterday. Boy do I need new shocks. I've never changed them and the car bounces like crazy. What do you guys think I should get? I'm not looking to break the bank, but I want something better than the stock replacement gtrs.
