removing 3.2 TL Door panel wood grain?

Does anyone have a clue on how to remove the wood grain on the 2000 3.2 TL door panels? I planned to wrap all the wood grain panels in carbon fiber. The center console panels were easy to wrap, but when I took the door panels off I couldn't find a way to pull off the wood grain panels. I removed all the gold screws on the back that remove the arm rest but thats all I could figure out. So I ended up putting on the carbon fiber but used a knife and cut along the outline of the panel....which was a terrible idea, because now its peeling and looks like crap. Now, after being disgusted by looking at it for a few months now, I want to paint the panels instead but I would need to pull out the wood grain door panels, but I can't figure it out. Does anyone know how to do this?

To clear things up, the picture is pointing at the panel I want to take out.

It is quite the project to do that. I would get a heat gun and try it one more time.
Which wrap are you using?
I would recomend the 3M 1080 Di-Noc with those 'Air tubes' to push out all the bubbles it comes out great!

Its really not hard to do ^ You just have to take your time with the drilling part. After that they come right off. Just get a good plastic epoxy and glue the area you drilled off when done. They will hold just fine.
