Rear Engine mount
I cant seem to find the DIY for the rear mount. Anyone?
Also, I have read some great things about innovative mounts, however I see no second gen tl on their site inventory, do we just use 98-02 Accord mounts?
I am between innovative and DEA from ebay, because there is a 5 piece kit for $107 has all the mounts, has anyone used the DEA mounts before? How is the fitment and quality? Any huge downfalls of no vacuum assist?

It's an easy job if you have the right tools. I used the DEA (motor king), check my link.
As an alternative, undo all the engine & tranny mounts and jack up the engine to remove just the rear mount without removing the mounting bracket.

Yep, fitment is identical, no problem installing any of them, including the tranny mounts. Keep your old rubber vibration isolators for the front & rear mounts just in case yours don't come with any. You need to install these properly seated otherwise you will get vibrations at idle, as others have noticed. The quality seems the same as oem since they are the same design. The sloppiness of the engine under acceleration went away after I installed them. Very firm now.

Being a generic copy of the OEM's will work in the short term, but if you are willing to spend the extra bucks....then you can expect better durability.
Another thing to consider is your driving style and if you are going to require better control of additional torque with future upgrade performance mods.
Bottom line is the time involved with installation, you save half a day's worth of labor expense by "DIY".....which would justify the better mounts, IMO. Your choice !

You will see that when you install the mount bracket over the rubber isolator, it may misalign it and you will get contact with the metal of the mount. Just watch out for this. So when you tighten it down, the rubber isolator is in place and hasn't shifted. That goes for both front & rear mounts. Other than that, it's straight-forward. The lifetime of these mounts would probably be similar to oem, which ain't great. But for me anyways, I can easily reinstall them if I had to years down the road....and there is no way you can beat that price.

Wifes car has been vibrating at idle ever since the tranny was replaced.
I figured one of the mounts was toast by now but the point you made about the isolators has me wondering. If I can check them without removing the mounts themselves it might prove to be the issue.

To replace the tranny only the front mount needs to be undone to remove the crossbrace. Get a flashlight and check if the piece of rubber is installed on the top of the front mount where the bracket sits. You can feel it with your hands. Maybe they forgot to install it. Also, check the 2 tranny mounts to make sure they didn't forget to tighten them or that they're not torn. Remove the driver wheel to check them easily.

It looks like part #5 might be an older style mount? Might explain why its not listed for order. Part #34 looks closer to the mount on our '03. Wondering if Acura dropped the whole isolator thing?
Didnt look at the tranny mounts just yet, didnt have time to pull the wheel off the car. Hopefully this weekend sometime (timing belt getting replaced Friday, maybe Ill have the shop take a look)

No, the dealer didn't drop the rubber isolator. It's an intergral part of the front and rear mounts.
I thought you can separately order it. Did you call some dealers? If you have a good relationship with a dealer, I'm sure these guys can get one for you. They have ways of getting stuff if they want. Another option is to try some of our sponsor dealers here. They may go out of their way to get it for you.
You can also make your own from a piece of 1/4" thick semi-soft rubber.
