Rear brake rotors replacement?

Ok like always I went through treads here to get routine for replacement of rear rotors. No one wrote that 8mm 1,25 bolts should be used to separate old rotors from parking brakes that are inside it. I'm not even sure it would work. At end after fighting for hours I had to go low tech at one of rotors and slam it with small sledge hammer like 20-30 times from back (there is space for it where brake caliper sit). There is not space to turn that star inside parking brake and that thing never worked well at another cars. I doubt two tiny bolts would be capable move rotor away of parking brake pads. Look like good ol' sledge is way to go. Who did it how he manage to remove it?

Two bolts definitely will remove it because as you tighten the bolts, it's pushing up against the hub which will separate it from the hub. Also there should be a hole such that when you rotate it to the 6 o clock position, it will grant you access to the star nut. I've done it this way several times.

Yeah...that could be frustrating; that's why I always read the service manual instructions before doing the work to make sure I have the tools (even a couple of bolts) beforehand. Like that one time I did my timing belt and needed to get a file to round the edges of that battery tray bolt in order to get it into the auto-tensioner.

I've seen a few dead links to get the service manual here. Is there a fresh one?
