Hi,

Does anyone know if the new bumpers that come with the foglights, which I think is the year 2000 - 2001 would fit on the 1999 Acura TL 3.2? Would I be able to work the foglights on the '99 TL? Also, what about the clear taillights that come with the 2000 - 2001 would that work on the '99 TL? Would I need a different harness or could I just use the same harness for the clear ones? Any type of feedback / assistance would be greatly appreciated!

The bumper would not fit...you would have to do alot modding on it. And as for the taillights ..it will fit but you need the wire harness.

Would I have to buy that separately? Or can I use the harness that comes with the 2000 - 2001 TL? By any chance, would you know how much that wire harness would cost?

Also, in regards to the bumper how much modifications would I need to do in order to fit it perfectly? Would there be any spaces between the fender and the bumper? By any chance would you know how much that type of work might cost for all that modifying?

you acutually can get the 02 style taillightz from HERE . . . its basic bolt on and u dont need a harness . . . its aftermarket but looks and fit exact . . .

If your really intrested in getting the white and red taillights. Tim sells them here with the harnes and the bulbs needed, click on accessories at top of page.

as for anyone trying to pimp for other websites or businesses, get off this board. I haven't had a lot of chance to buy from tim yet, but I will not buy from somewhere else either

Hi Everyone,

I have a few questions regarding the following items:

1. Front Bumper with Fog Lights
2. Rear Bumper
3. Front Grill
4. Taillights

I have a '99 3.2 TL and wanted to know if any of these parts would fit on my car. My friend has a 2002 TL and he got into an accident and got hit on the right passenger side real badly. He asked me if I needed any parts before they junk the car. He was recommending that I try to take some of the above parts so that I can enhance my car. So what I am asking is would the front bumper with the foglights fit on on my '99 TL? If not, how much work would need to be done so that I can fit the front bumper onto my car? Also, would I be able to change the front grill? I want to change my grill for his. What about the rear bumper, I want to change my bumper because it has a lot of scratches. Would I be able to fit the 2002 bumper onto mine? One last thing, I want to change the taillights. I want his 2002 taillights on my car, would it fit and work properly? Can I use the same harness that is on my car for his taillights or would I have to purchase a different harness for it to work? Can I take his harness off and place it in my car?

Any assistance would be of great help!!

The rear bumper and tail lights will fit perfectly. The wiring harmess just unplugs, you should take it too since the bulbs are already attached. Changing the front bumper and grill would also require changing the hood and headlights, possibly the fenders.

If it was a TL-s take the engine if it's in good shape. If not is the interior the same color as yours, if not than do the 2 tone interior they have in japan. Of change you int color. I would take the whole interior, tail lights, headlights, all the hid parts. Mufflers, suspension, spoiler if he has it and you dont, grill, everything man. If the bumper, grill, hood, headlights and fenders are still in good shape, then do it. Most of the money that you nned to spend on parts is already done, now you just have to worry about labor. Just take the body shop guy with you to look at the car and see what peices you will need. Send pics of you friends car.
