Question: Engine differences between TL and TL-S
I know of a couple of engine differences between these two engines. I've heard that exhaust and intake modifications are the most drastic. And that cams and compression were also changed. Could someone please comment on this? Specifically, what made the most drastic improvements.

Ok, this is the info i gather from the mechanic guy in Acura...
The intake manifod are different... TypeS has a dual intake system, which will trap all the air when it's at low rpm... when theres pressure at the throttle, the solenoid will open up the dual intake, so it will creat a ram air effect... This is the MOST or BIGGEST difference between both engine...
The exhaust and the cat. are the same... They had confirmed this... The reason people said the TypeS exhaust have 30% better flow is becuase the intake has 30% more intake.... But other than that, its the same exhasut system... Why the TypeS has a deeper exhaust note? Cuz the intake system created more airflow, so theres more air coming out from the exhasut manifod(factory header area)... thats the reason why.
The cams are different.... it has a set of more aggressive cams
The compression ratio are different.
The ECU has to be tuned differently for all these.... Thats pretty much about it.... I am not sure about the piston are different or not tho..... but i am pretty much stated most of the diff.....
