power steering reservoir
noticed when I lifted the hood of my 2k tlp that the fluid in the power steering reservoir was shaking even at idle..anyone have the same problem. Its at the dealership now but I wanted to know whether anyone had the same problem.

shaking.. hmm i think i might know what you mean. I believe its the way the plumbing is set up. I had a major problem with my steering rack i was loosing a ton of fluid and had to keep refilling until i got it to the dealer. anyway.. its a whirlpool effect.. the pump recirculates the fluid back into the reservoir at an angle which causes it to spin, and i believe the fluid pickup is at the very bottom of the reservoir, making it swirl like that.. unless you mean something different.. i dont know

this recirculation can cause a slight whistling noise when the car is idling (e.g., at a stoplight)...as soon as i move the steering wheel, it stops...
