Power Steering belt replacement

I am needing to replace my power steering belt. I believe i understand how to replace it but i want to be sure i am doing correctly.
To remove the belt you loosen the pump adjusting bolt, mounting bolts and nut on the steering pump and slip off the belt.
Here is where i have the question. once the belt is on do i tighten the mounting nut and bolt down first, then tight turn and tighten the adjusting nut to get the proper tension or do i turn and tighten the adjusting nut tight first then tighten the mounting nut and bolt? any advice would be gratefully appreciated. thanks.

the process for the 3rd gen is different as the 3rd gen is just one belt with an auto tensioner, which is easier. The 2nd has two separate belts.

doh, my mistake!

It wouldn't make sense to tighten the adjusting nut and then the mounting nut/bolt because now the tension would be different. Mounting nut first and then tension nut

Make sure you don't get it too tight. Should deflect about 1/2" when pressed with two fingers.
