I hope this is not in bad taste, but... Do you mean Spanish guides (joke) or some type of curb feeler?

Bien... Anyway, I have never seen any. I hope the new TL has parking assist and a rear view camera.

When you back up, the senors at the back send out a pulse to detect objects. If an object is really close by, the indicator next to the turning wheel creates a beeping sound and the indicator bar gradually changes color to red.

I had it installed by the dealer when I bought my car.
You guys sure u havent heard of parking senors??

I just strapped two broom sticks out the back of my car. When I hear cracking it's time to stop.

They are called backup or reverse sensors. If you do a search on those terms...you will find lots of info. You can even buy some (for 3G TL's at least) from a vendor here on AZ.
