looking fr options fro my friends TL type-s nav to replace factory bose system

is there anything like for newer TL or accord with a complete dash kit with heater controls and built in android nav unit?

are there other OEM nav units from newer car that can fit in it ?

You would be replacing the radio, your factory nav isn't going anywhere as it controls HVAC. It is possible however to put the OEM navi + Metra double din kit (modified) to go where the radio went. Then install an aftermarket radio where the OEM navi was. This is called the navi relocation mod.

Just get either the Sony XAV-AX100 or JVC KW-M730BT. Android auto, replaces your radio, get an amplifier bypass (scoshe). Or look into the chinese Joying units that are full blown android on SoC.
