Hey Everyone, just wanted to introduce myself!! I recently purcahased a 2002 TL Type_S with 33K miles and I have found Acurazine an incredible resource for all my questions. I live in the SF Bay Area and would love to get recommendations for local mechanics or fellow owners who do affordable/reliable work. I am looking to get my TB and WP replaced as well as all drive belts. My car is 12 years old and likely has all original belts.

WELCOME! Man! 150K with the original tranny! That being should be in a museum on exhibit. Well one thing I know is that if you're good to her, she'll be good to you. I still drive mine everyday, 210K, 2 transmissions, and 11 years of preventive maintenance almost always on schedule, she's still holding strong.
Whats up everyone, new to forum and looking to meet car lovers alike. Just pucked up this car for 500 bucks lol and looking to do a six speed swap and type s motor. Car is a true type s owner replaced motor and trans after car took a crap. I got money in my pocket and hopefully this will be the place to get this project done. I will be boosting this car as well. Just ordered air ride suspension for as the kit works like coil overs (my drive way will kill my car in permanant low lol) hope to talm to you all soon lets get the party started.
