Here is my starting Point Guys The 2002 on the left has a real nice interior and some hail damage i will be driving as soon as I get a MOTOR in it and the 1999 on the right is total and will be selling Parts soon after I get all i want off of it for a third car I have to put a timing belt component set on and get some interior parts on ALL THIS WEEK Follow me and see how I do LOL...... I bought this car almost 2 yrs ago. I have put almost 60k on it since then. I bought it to use as a DD. This is my first "import". I must say, I am very pleased.

I previously owned a '99 Accord with 163k, so I'm not new to Honda by any means. This car was purchased with 114k with a brand new transmission. I've put just about 20k on it in the last 17 months, and I have enjoyed every mile in this car. In the future, I hope to exceed 200k.

Well - I guess I am the new guy. I have had my Type-S since 2006 and love it. My wife has pretty much been driving it during the week and me on the weekends (I work in DC and the roads SUCK. She also drives less miles than I do). Well, my hooptie is dying so she wants a new car and Ill take the Acura.
Ive always loved the car and it has been dead on deopendable. I bought the car with about 40,000 miles on it and never replaced the trans. Ive kept up the maintenance on it and its been fine..But now I need to give it a little more love.. Couple things need to be looked at..
The drivers side headlight assembly has a lot of condensation on it. I keep on hearing that all the aftermarket headlight assemblies (actually the reflectors) are crap so I need to look around some more...
The transmission I believe is shifting too fast into overdrive. It starts to vibrate at low speeds. But if I kick it into D4, its fine..
I just noticed a leak in the driverside floorboard. Looks like the seal around teh window went bad...
Other than that..Its all good! Ive always been a performance type of person..Maybe thats why I got into motorcycles
and started racing CCS..

Just picked up a 02 TL-s with nav. Has 240K. Silver. No pics worth posting. Have been going through it, fixing all the normal stuff you find wrong with these. Heated seats didn't work, rear view mirror was blown, has an ABS problem, found it to be a open pump. Found a replacement for $80. Replacing all the tires, timing belt, valve adjust, etc.
Really appreciate the resources here, the how-to's have been very helpful.
Have been really enjoying this car. It drives like a dream and is so comfortable. I think I'll be keeping it for quite some time.
