I've learned to hook up thetranny mounts to the frame and lower the engine down to meet up with the bolt holes, but that's just me

That's how I did it as well. Also, I didn't tighten down the tranny mounts to the frame until the tranny was bolted to the mounts, probably common sense but you never know.

ohhhh no lol, yeah I wanted some play with those mounts so I'd just get the nuts on there and let things move around to get bolt holes lined up, then snug em down

Cars been done for about a week now. Just now waiting on my new intake since I ordered the wrong one before I take it to the dealer to get the immobilizer on the ECU reprogrammed to my key so I can finally start her up. Heres a few pics of her back on the floor.

Car now definitely sits higher due to the new tranny being much lighter so I'm probably gonna take it down a tad in the front again once I get her up and running. then......VIDEOS in action! So stay tuned!

Oh and im gonna work on my parts list right now so ill post that right up once i get it all together

I'm hoping next week. It all depends on when the intake gets in because I don't wanna start it with no intake plus it won't start yet anyways because there's an immobilizer on the new ECU that has to be reprogrammed to my key by the dealer.

just noticed this post but i didnt get the upper bracket yet im going to just get an L bracket from home depot or something and just bolt it up. that would work yea? i think i seen the other Kris do that in his thread or it was one of the other 6mt guys i forgot.

and thanks Tim yea it was definitely a lot of parts but well worth all the work. total cost for all those parts ran me 3200$ shipped.

Here pic of my custom made bracket from 2 L bracket. Use 8M X 1.25 screw fit perfectly in top thread bolt hole

You may have take off the clutch pedal to add custom bracket on. For more suppose i drill bolt on top part of clutch bracket.

As you can see the bolted into top part of clutch bracket

Nice work on your swap

damb this is a crazy swap. you did a good job redoing the wiring. but you might run into trouble with that key programming? just make sure they 1st program the computer to the car..and then the key to the computer...i had trouble where i just had the key programmed to my computer and it did nothing..should run you 120 bucks.

good luck

Shouldnt be any issues at all. Its pretty straight forward to program the key to the new ecu immobilizer. I brought mine to the local Honda dealer years back when i did this swap. Took them about 30 min or less and like 60 bucks.

Negative. Still waiting on the intake and just refilled all my fluids today. Soon as the intake gets here I'm taking it to get reprogrammed and starting it up.

Sorry guys I've been busy lately and the guys who are supposed to come program my key have been lagging as well. However, the car isnt cranking over when I put the key in and turn it but I am getting the flashing green key light in the dash. I think somethings up in the wiring because from what I've read and been told it's supposed to at least crank? I thought it wasn't cranking because my key wasn't programmed to my new ecu yet but I don't know. I know it's not my battery or starter so I'm stumped at this point. I'm looking at my wiring again and there are a lot of wires unplugged but it seems there's no place for them to be hooked up to unless I did it wrong?

Also, when I plug up the battery, random things work in the car without the key being in it such as my driver side window rolls down only, my passenger side dome light and not driver turns on, cabin light turns on and dash light displays. My fuel light, battery light, abs, srs and green key light all come on and my temperature reading is at 111. I can't change the trip or turn on my headlights or wipers and my e brake and brake lights don't work as well. Those are the symptoms it's having right now

Damn hopefully you figure it out soon. Thats a lot of things not connected I feel like some of those have to be the problem. I need to look at the video again slowly to see if I can pick anything out but toward the end that "black wire" you mention looks like the OBD port so that doesnt need to be hooked up to anything.

Yea I think I need a new fuse box for the driver side because we managed To hook up a few more harnesses but there just isn't enough spots for all of them. Also when referring to the manual it shows there are spots on the fuse box that aren't on my current one since I have the CL manual.

It's all good bro thanks for comin thru anyways. But yea I think we figured it out were pretty sure it's the fuse box cause even Kris(fsttyms1) told me the same thing that he switched it out to the 03. I don't know how I could have made that mistake and missed that part but oh well.

Yea I'm pretty sure getting the new fusebox will fix the problem. Then I'll fix the rest of the wiring issues linked with it.
