Moonroof compatibility - Newer version on 2003?

Moonroof compatibility - Newer version on 2003?
I just bought a 2003 Type-S - loving it so far... I am interested in buying a moonroof visor. A previous owner obviously HAD one on the car, because I can see the scratches in the paint from where it used to be attached.
Looking around online, I see there is a "newer version" moonroof visor, which is supposed to be quieter than previous versions, but the compatibility is listed as 2004+ on some sellers sites... and the original moonroof part, which is 08R01-S0K-201, has popped up pictures of the NEW version on some sites and the older version on others.
So the question after this rambling is... Will the new version moonroof visor work on a 2003 Type-S?
