Not trying to start another Seafoam DIY!!! There are a couple of those already. If that is what you are looking for they are easy to find.
I already use Seafoam and will continue to use it. What I am interested in is a little comparison of Seafoam and a couple other products.
For us old guys, the Seafoam craze is relatively new. I used to be a die hard Berryman's B12 advocate and have also used Marvel Mystery Oil on occassion.
This was on primarily Carb'd engines, so I wanted to get some opinions/info on their use on newer EFI vehicles. Primarily if they are safe to use for the intake cleaning DIY. I did read somewhere that MMO can cause problems with the honeycomb material in the CATs when ran through the intake.
Is it possible to run B12 through the intake and if so what is the benefit of Seafoam over B12?
