Question Loose lighter/accessory socket

The accessory socket near the coin tray on my car is loose; it rotates and can be pulled out 1/4 inch.
I found the following thread:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...lighter+socket

However, no one mentions what needs to be disassembled in order to get there. Can I get away removing the nearest side panel to do this? I assume there's a nut in back or either the sleeve is the nut, I can't tell from the parts diagram.

Thanks.

Yes, the sleeve is threaded. Carefully pry the RH "wood" trim off the console,
and you'll be able to access the accessory socket. It pries out and up, if memory serves.

Apparently not! Thanks - missed that in a search.

Fixed! An easy way to tighten it given the limited space is to tighten the sleeve by using a flat bladed screw driver and and hammer against one of the splines on the sleeve after you've gotten it finger tight.
