J-pipe

Anyone know if the RV6 Performance V3 J-pipe & HFPCs(High Flow Precats) Combo, 2003-07 Honda Accord V6 (3.0) available from MrHeelToe fits our cars?

^ No.. Those years use the Cast in Manifold Headers (The outlet do not resemble anything in the 2G TL). If you install the J Pipe the Header will not reach since its not long enough to connect with the 3G J Pipe...

Also why would you do that? Our J-Pipe and Header system is miles better for performance..

And where did you read otherwise or anything better about the 3G system? The cast-in-head headers is a terrible system because it cannot be tuned..
The reason why the 3G guys get the J-Pipe from RV6 is because it has better flow and its bigger (We get that on any Header system for the J32) They cannot tune the header in any way shape or form like in our engine they are stuck with the performance they get from the J-Pipe Alone.

We can have Short Headers, Long Headers etc... The 3G Guys cant.. Easy our system is better, Though they have the bigger engine Get a J35 swap in and bolt ons and laugh madly at a 3G TL.

I was already planning on doing the j35 build to a 3.7 along with bolt ons and doing some minor weight reduction. And I want to do stuff to the exhaust but I don't want it much louder

That dont usually go hand in hand.. Good exhaust performance is a Loud Exhaust...

Let me rephrase that, I'd prefer it to be not much louder under normal driving conditions (not using ss, or putting the pedal to the floor), but under race conditions im not too concerned with the noise

Well I don´t want to sound biased but heck.. Straight Pipes might be your solution
I´m using DC Sport Headers into Stock Cat to Stock Resonator/Mid Muffler to Straight Pipes and I LOVE IT! There is a little increase in low end noise (Daily Driving) but its not annoying but once you floor it the difference is incredible..

You can also do what fatty did and install an Exhaust Cut-Off with a side valve.. Both Worlds if you dont mind the extra wiring.

And because it still uses the stick cat it would be street legal still. And straight pipes after the mid muffler would give a deeper tone correct? Deeper I don't mind, its the coffee can looking muffler sound that I don't like

You can check it out here: https://acurazine.com/forums/second-...-sound-919409/

Mine is just idle and a little REVing with the car Hot but HairyMonkey´s video in the lower comments is a Cold Start + Warm Up and a Drive By WOT with the Straight pipes. We are both using the same setup as in Keeping the Cat + Mid Resonator/Muffler.
