Idemitsu power steering fluid OK?
Has anyone used this power steering fluid in Acura TL?
According to a few online parts stores (e.g., partsgeek.com), this is the OEM power steering fluid. Here's a link to an ebay sale with similar claims in the description section:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Acura-...-/161184642816
Does anyone have opinions on using this in my (wife's) 1999 Acura TL? I have a few bottles of this, so I want to use it--if its compatible--to flush out the power steering fluid, which hasn't been changed since new.
Thanks.

I wouldn't go for it, your nearest Honda parts dealer should have it in stock for about the same price.

The only fluid I trust besides the OEM is the Lucas Oil Power steering fluid that's Honda rated. I've been running it in my TL for 10K miles now and it's made my steering smoother and got ride of a whining noise I was having in the rack on the passenger side. Highly recommend it but it does cost a bit more than the OEM stuff.

Yeah, if doing a full PS system flush.....it's gotta be better than the old stuff that was in there.
