i searched threads but need HELP! (rad+coolant)

well i did a coolant flush today at a shop my bud works at ford so we jus used the raise.

but its all done now, im at home and the fumes rush out. its not a shitload of fumes (smells tangy, sweet, if u inhale it, taste like candy lol) but it smokes up, i shut the car off and the capp is off right now, cooling down, gonna check in a sec if its ok

but what i used for coolant was

prestone already mixed antifreeze+prestone longlife coolant+water+another half bottle off green, ford dealership coolant.

so its 4.4LMIXED+4.4L longlife+half jug of water, +half jug of green coolant

we used the machine to do the flush, then filled with that mixture, u think the mixture fucked it up? plz help....

we did have a prob of thermostat not open'n so the coolant can go in, but its open if WE WERE able to get the coolant in anyways right?

i was plannin to go to a store now and redo the flush, just drain and fill....

btw. the old coolant was so nasty, light green color..

The "smoke" is from the spilled coolant burning off/vaporizing. It's normal. I spilled coolant everywhere when I put in the Spoon t-stat and fan switch, and my engine bay was like a smoke show. After a few drives, it will all burn off.

I am assuming the water you added was distilled water. Adding regular tap water will cause the inside of your radiator to rust and corrode.

Geez, what you do, pour in anything that was laying around the shop? If it was my car, I'd go to the dealer on Monday, get a gallon of Honda antifreeze, and do a drain and refill using distilled water.
