When I first bought the car (one year ago in february) I thought it was very comfortable. However, on a long trip a few months ago I found that my back started to hurt after driving only about an hour. It got very uncomfortable and I found myself moving around every few minutes and adjusting the seat (including the lumbar adjustment). Mind you, I am only 18 years old (i drive like you are supposed to, about 12-14 inches from the wheel with the back part of the seat almost straight up, not into the backseat), my car has 116k on it, and it's the non type s, a 99 to be exact. I love the car but it seems to me that the seats in the 99-03 NON type s just suck including the lumbar support.

Do any of you guys experience this uncomfortable-ness that I cannot stand?
