$20k in 06 as a certified pre-owned car with 26k on it.

-$100 HID fog light kit
-$120 XM radio plus install
-$1000 17inch A-spec rims
-$185 RF motor mount replaced
-$180 rear brakes

Fluid changes were done by myself, price not worth mentioning. Next big expsense is summer tires and Tein Basics, or K-sports.

$13.5K in October of 2006 with 60K miles on it. Pristine condition.

- $140 spoiler
- $60 front door window tint, the back was already done.
- $830 for a brand new lip kit from another user here. It was even the color I needed
- $280 for two new tires
- $190 UR OE size crank pulley, which I have yet to install.
- $120? P2R TB spacer, don't remember the exact price.
- $100? Infinity Basslink
- $140 Bose 6 disc HU
- $150 Red door sills from Supercomputers
- $300 02-03 Tails and wire harnesses (new from Acura)
- Miscellaneous maintenance that doesn't count since it goes with owning a car. (brakes, oil changes, plugs, etc.)

That's all I can think of right now.

$5600 for a 1999 with 131,000 miles on it, in Jul 2008 from the original owner. Added a $980 vehicle service contract which has subseqently paid $3200 for a new transmission, lower ball joints, outer tie rod ends, 2 motor mounts and a front end alignment. I put a new EGR valve on it shortly after I purchased it and bought new tires a couple of weeks ago.

Hand-me-down. (Purchased new in '03 for $28k)
$6,200 in mods, all installed myself except exhaust & tint.
Probably about $2k in maintenance -- mostly 2 replaced calipers, headlight, alignments, fluids, blah..
Lots $$$ in gas
Cleaning/wax products -- although my dad and I share that... <3
I should have saved it and used the money for straight up trade + cash on another car...

yup, salvaged title, fixed it and now its a rebuilt title, you wouldnt even know that it was salvaged unless u look at the police safety sticker thing.

that just leaves more money for me to mod my car.

$7.5k, 8-2008, 02 TL-S, 130k miles from the original owner (my 68 year old neighbor) car always serviced at acura, never been in an accident, mint inside, outside, under the hood, and underneath the car.

total so far (including the price of the car) $12,435...not including any sales tax, or routine maintenance.

still need tires for my 18's, exhaust, rear camber kit, aftermarket headunit, speaker's, maybe a dc header, and misc small stuff.

it should be finished by the middle of summer.

i edited out what i have purchased.
