Greetings from SD CALI, New 2003 TL

Hey All,

I was passed down a 2003 3.2 TL and i have some general questions i was hoping you all could help me with.

The car is at 99k miles at the moment and the last tune up was done at around 70k. Is it about that time to replace everything, A full Tune Up?

The car has a 2 year warranty as of 2011 in case of engine or the trany issues associated with this specific model.

Thanks, your opinion counts!

welcome ck out the other new owner threads by scrolling or search feature for good info
What do you think the last tune up consisted of?

the TL doesnt call for a tune up until 105kmiles, but many of us replace the spark plugs after 60-70kmiles and its ready for them

are you sitting down? ---the spark plugs cost 8 bucks EACH and no you cant use some 2 buck bs

we dont have wires or cap and rotor to replace

engine air filter= change when dirty, or buy a K&N $50 and never change again
cabin air filters= every year or 2 max!! bet yours are clogged! 20 bucks

buy 2 cans of Seafoam at parts store or walmart, add 1 can to just under half tank of gas..Drive more than 30 minute trip when possible

a few tank later, when down to half, add the 2nd can
thats just done a full cleaning of fuel- indiction and combustion systems!
actual tune up in a can!!

see the Regions link at top of page?
thats broken into areas- lots of SD members- they post 'ziner get togethers for car talk, show off and photos- some do bbq- others do a drive,,,

good people and always someone to test drive your car if any questions, or learn how to operate it better~
