My wife only lets me spend on my car what I let her spend on clothes. My new springs are costing me a trip to Banana Republic. Oh well, the springs will be worth it.

My wife has a 2000 TL Navi with spoiler and body kit. My problem is every time she drives my type s, she complains she needs more power in her car! She keeps asking when she gets the headers, exhaust and CAI!

Mine is dark emerald green, The only reason I get to mod up my TL is because my wife is getting a blue TL's. She knows the tl's has all the parts I wish I had on my 99TL, so to make things alittle equal I get to make my car the way I want to (within reason).

Ssingle here.

If I can justify it to myself, I can have all the toys I want.

I'm working on convincing myself to buy rims now...

Mee too.. < 4 months and counting. But no mods for me until next year.
Not exactly dooms day though..

The cool part is that my soon to be wife will let me get what I want, as long as it isn't sooo expensive and ricey.

Did you guys happen to notice my sig??

We do the same thing - I get a toy, she gets a toy. When I bought my TLS, it cost me new drapes in the living room - for $1000! Who would have thought a grand for freaking drapes?

I think $1000 drapes for a TL-S is a great trade! At least she didn't want a cruise or something like that..

For all you single guys, be sure to marry a gorgeous woman who is intelligent and makes more money than you. Try to keep separate bank accounts so you never fight about money.
There are plenty of women like this; their just hard to find because they are working all the time.

didnt have a problem convincing the wife about the rims.....as long as I let her pick them! She did however cross off the list the Brembo brakes, DVD-video upgrade, and the supercharger. She felt it was better if I bought a new VFR 800 instead!

yeah I know I'm lucky, and I thank the lord everyday for blessing me with a wife that likes cars and bikes. Now is she would learn to play videogames...

If I didn't have a cool wife too, I'd hate you for being so lucky, but since I'm lucky too, its cool.
My wife figures that if I dont get mods, it'll be another car, so she just lets me get stuff "within reason" and makes no comments at all. I bought my "toy" (read S2000) right before I got married just in case, but the wife loves it and the TL, so its cool...AND she only wants to drive her Civic...how that for lucky eh?

The problem is, there will always be a newer and better toy that you will need. So just don't get married
