FREE Transmission Range Switch/Neutral Safety Switch

Hello Acurazine

I have a perfectly good TRS/NSS I replaced on my 99 TL because I thought it was bad. Well it wasn't, it ended up being a bad ground causing the CEL to come on.

I love this forum and want to help others like you guys have done for me. So here is my offer. I will mail you the transmission range switch/neutral safety switch, all you have to do is pay for shipping. If you live in Southern California (Inland Empire), I will hand it over to you for nothing. in exchange, help promote my You Tube channel I'm making for Acura/Honda Repair. I'm in the process of making a J Series Timing Belt video I hope to have online soon. So when the video is posted just help me spread the word to others that would benefit from the video.

Well let me know if this part is something you need.

Thanks and let's keep this forum rock'n!

Bundy

The switch is what tells the ECU what gear it is in. It also tells the ECU if it is not in park, so you don't start your car in reverse or drive. The key thing to remember if you do this repair is to NOTE how the old switch came off (where the stem out of the trans meets the switch, note what position the switch is in) then match the new switch up to that before you install it. My channel is bundysgarage on YouTube. I will post a video regarding this repair in a few days.

Hey Bundy, I Just got done watching one of your Youtube videos,

P1706,5,9 - Replace Acura/Honda V6 Transmission Range Switch - Neutral Safety

Then While searching for pricing on the PNP or Transmission Range Switch i came upon this forum. As of now my girlfriends transmission is starting to slip. she has just received the check engines light and the code is P0705. The car starts normally but around the 20MPH mark the RPM will spike while the you start to lose speeds. After a few minutes of this the car will eventually pass this point.

If you would i would like to know if you still have and are willing to send that Transmission Range Switch, if i pay for shipping.

Please either contact me here or at my Email, Raminrc04@aol.com
Thank You Bundy

this thread is approx. 2.5 years old,,,not much chance that part is still avail

You can look thru our section on items for sale from members and might find what you need (doubtful) but cant post a wtb ad until you meet certain post count and membership time requirements- to prevent bs scammers from flooding the board

Fastest method would be contact any of the dealers listed in our vendor section- they all cut us a break on price, tell them acurazine sent you for the deal
Chances are that part will come from a warehouse, not an item the dealer will stock
