Engine Oil burning issue 2002 TL-S
I have this issue where the Engine burns the oil quickly and I have to fill it will oil weekly. My last oil change service was at American Lube Service about 2 months ago and I asked the mechanic to check on this problem. He told me that there is no leakage and it could be that my car is an older model with high mileage. I'm currently at around 130k. They recommended to go with 10w 30 for high mileage engine. So ever since then that it what I buy as opposed to the 5w 20 which is used for this engine. Any ideas why this is happening?

Any other issues drive wise? How much oil are we talking a week? Any smoke coming out of the tailpipe. Sometimes you will only see it under hard acceleration or with the VTec kicks in.
Have you pulled and checked any of the plugs. I will bet you would find one or two with signs of burnt oil. That could be a ring letting some oil pass.
If you pull the plugs and find one or two with signs of oil burning I would do a compression test. That will give you a better idea of how each cylinder is doing.

Do not use 10W-30 regardless of what that clerk told you.. 5W-20 or 5W-30 is what you should be using I am at 218K and still use 5W-30 and don't have to add a drop between oil changes.
Burning oil can be caused by a valve PCV valve as well.

With that mileage I seriously doubt the engine is burning a significant amount of oil, unless it was badly abused (run on low/no oil for an extended period of time). I have 207K and I am about a quart low after about 4-5K miles, but my oil pan gasket is also leaking (and maybe also the oil pump gasket). I'll deal with adding some oil in between changes until I feel like tackling the gaskets... ugh.
+1 to the above... check plugs, compression test, check PCV valve.

Compression test can be done where? Any mechanic shop?
Is it expensive to have the PCV valve checked?

Ok so now my my car has new issues. The engine light and VSA is on. I also have slight vibration at idle. Dealer performed the test and found out that the engine could be done. 90% sure but is doing the compression test. If not the engine it could be the rings. Don't remember which ones he told me. I don't know what to do now if it is the engine. I'm not going to spend $$$ on a new engine. I already replaced the original engine with this one.

If the engine is done there isn´t much we can tell you, You only have 2 options..
1.- Get a J35A3 from the MDX
2.- Part ways with the car
or
Optional 3.- Rebuild the Engine (Which is none-sense since its stupid expensive).
