U know what i think? I think comptech is very smart in making the springs rates different on each wheel. Althogh the whole car might sit unevenly (front lower than the rear), but if u think about it, when you accelerate from a stop or something, the rear springs will compensate for the "lift" effect that's due to accel. In other words, comptech springs will help accel from stop because our cars is front drive and preventing the lift will help a lot in terms of griping the road? Agree?

Yeah, your right... that is smart of Comptech. But what about for shows or just people looking at your car while its parked? People will think your drop is retarded..... Right now its either Comptech, Neuspeed sport (anyone used these yet?), or Apex'i N1s (if i save up for long time)

i don't think the imbalance is noticible. Most people on this forum have comptech springs and i am sure they are all happy with them. Right guys/girls?

Don't forget H&R springs www.hrsprings.com which is what I'll probably get one of these days. They drop .75"F, .50"R if you get the "OE Sport" springs, and there are two other lines offering more aggressive drops (and damping rates).

The OE Sports are only 15-20% stiffer than stock, so they are pretty tame. Less likely to wear the shocks out as a result, and, more importantly to me, produce a more subtle drop as opposed to more sporting springs.

Nice pics ZodiakTL.... man, that is the drop that the TL shoulda came with.... Stock is TOO HIGH!!! It should be lower later when it settles right? Doesnt that take a couple months? I just don't want any tire gap at all.... i like it when it sits right on top of the tire.....

ballxnxparlay...the biggest reason i went w/comptech that many did not mention, is so when i do put someone in the back(very rare though), my rear gets evened out w/the front, whereas w/eibach, the rear drops too low... the ride turns hoopty... i dunno if when it settles it's lower, though many say, but it does look tight w/out that shitty front wheel gap... in the rear not much difference though...hope this helps you decide.

I dropped my sister's civic last nite... and i cutted her bumpstop... Did everyone here cut theirs too? Im not even gonna think about dropping my TL myself tho.... doing the civic all by hand was hard enough, my myself!!! Taking the spring out was crazy... all the bolts and stuff shot into the wall... and im guessing the TL springs are even longer and more compressed in there.

haha.. it shouldn't be too bad. If u have read shoofin's directions and got a manual and a spring compressor, it shouldn't be too bad. I am gonna drop it with a friend in a few weeks after this quarter of school is over. But I am expecting about 4 hours of labor...
