Double din unit recommendations?

Hi y'all,

I've been thinking about upgrading to a double din head unit in my 03. I've done some research, but I was hoping some of you might have recommendations.

Ideally it should have:
  • Touchscreen
  • AM/FM (obviously)
  • Bluetooth or AUX input
  • 6 CD Changer
  • Navigation
  • User interface that doesn't suck (lol)
  • Possibility to wire in the steering wheel controls
  • Possibility to wire in backup camera

Let's hear your thoughts. Thanks!

That all depends on your budget. Are you looking for a windows based radio or Something like a pioneer head unit. I put a windows based double din in mine and for the most part i am happy with it.

No after market setup will have a 6 cd changer, but for everything else go with a pioneer avic nex 5200, nice unit that is user friendly with all the other features you're looking for for including navi

Most placing will have it for 650ish and right now pioneer has a 100 rebate for the radio through its website.

Thanks everyone. My budget is pretty low so I'm still considering whether I'll pursue this.

There are PLENTY of good options out there for a few hundred that will be far better than the craptastic OEM unit. You wont find 6 disc but you dont need to . Most all now have the capability of reading off a USB drive. Load all your CDs/Music on one and call it a day. If you want Navi that will cost more. Some have the ability to add it afterwards to save money upfront. Another option is look for something Android auto/Apple Car play where you could use your Phones GPS/Navi for it.
